This past Sunday, we had our sweet Michael Dean dedicated at Mimi and Papa's church in Concord. Their beautiful pastor, Pastor Roger, gave a wonderful service and handled MD like a champ. He reminded us all that our children aren't ours. What?! They're God's and He's simply lent them to us for a short time. What an awesome thing. It's so heartwarming to look at MD and see a little, gift-wrapped present from God.
Thank you so much God for Michael Dean. Our world has changed 100% and we are so grateful.
I found a really great quote from, strangely enough, Susan Sarandan. "Children reinvent your world for you." Oh how true.
Oh, and I couldn't get over how much MD looked not like a 5-month old baby, but a little boy in this pic. I'll post more from the day, later. Oh, how time is so short right now...

He does look like a little man!!! And you're right, time is so short. Our little E is growing like a weed; at 5 weeks he's growing out of 3mo clothes and is now in size 2 diapers!!! That's just weird to me! I'm glad his dedication went well. It's such a special time, though it's just a reminder that we need to give our children over to God daily, not just in that ceremony. :-) Love and miss ya, girlie.
He's such a sweet baby and so so adorable! I can't wait to see more pics of the day (maybe one in a Christmas card)!
