So, yesterday I visited many doctors! I first had my 24-week check-up and all is well. We heard MD's heartbeat and it was quite fast. He must be a busy little guy in there.
I then had to pay a visit to my dentist. See, my good friend Tina gave me a really hard piece of Altoids chewing gum on Sunday and it split my top, left molar right in 2. Well, actually the piece of gum wasn't really that hard...my teeth are just freakishly soft. It's been a curse of mine for like my whole life so it really didn't surprise me too much when I bit down on a piece of my tooth right in the middle of praise and worship.
No pain yet but I'm just waiting, holding my breath. My dentist definitely thought we shouldn't ignore it so he's going to crown me in April. Yeah. But, hey, I'll get a nice, shiny, white-ish tooth out of the deal! Score.

Truckin' Along
Welp, here I am at 22 weeks, aka 5.5 months, aka 124 days to go!
I was trying to get in a picture of me before the sun went away and Donnie wasn't home yet so the weird picture is my crazy attempt to do a self-portrait. That's really hard to do with a heavy camera and weak arms. But, I thought it was worth sharing. I look a bit skinnier there...and I'll take all the skinny I can get.

Welcome to the World, Sawyer
On Monday, March 5, the Icenhour family welcomed in Sawyer Cole Icenhour. He's the 2nd son of Donnie's middle brother, Bobby and his wife Christy. Sawyer's arrival didn't take too long and he seemed to be pretty peaceful when I saw him Monday night. He weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 inches long. Pretty soon he'll be getting a new cousin who he can mis-treat like the younger brother he may never have!

Mila's Mornings are Ruff
We were definitely blessed with a non-morning dog. Come to think of it, she's not really a night dog either. She pretty much just prefers to sleep all day long, with the occassional lick on the face and chasing match.
Well, here, she had had a particularly rough morning. During the week I am always up early (5:45am) but Donnie usually stays in bed until 7-ish (meaning anywhere from 6am to 9am). Mila typically doesn't budge an inch when I get up, except to crawl to my newly-vacant, warm spot to lay her head on my pillow.
So, this one morning both Donnie and I were up early and I quickly made the bed. Mila had no idea what to do so she just decided to make a spot on my body pillow and look all pitiful in hopes to convince us to never do this to her again. Poor dog.

Registry Adventures
This past Saturday my mom, Madison and Tina graciously pulled together all of their baby knowledge and helped me register at Babies 'R' Us. Wow, what a task! That store has always scared me but even more now that I have to shop for one of my own. Bottles, excersaucers, health products, car seats. You name it, it's on there.
My natural way of shopping is to basically not shop. So, it was a bit of a challenge for me to buckle down for 2 hours and pick things that (some of them) were a little more than I may spend myself. So, as I stood in front of the 37 choices for baby lotions, mom had to take the scanner from me and just do it herself! Thanks mom...
It was fun but oh so overwhelming! Thanks to all of you who will eventually have to print out the 398-page report of the Michael Dean Icenhour registery. May God be with you.
